I’m getting started at catching up with everything I need to do around the house and yard, and didn’t get the camera out until late this afternoon. First, here is a mockingbird sitting on the wire out front, taken through the window of my computer room. I didn’t know how this would work out but it’s not bad. Settings were f/8, 1/400, ISO 800.

I saw this Mourning Dove sitting up in a tree in the back yard. Settings were f/6.3, 1/400, ISO 400.

And here’s one I haven’t seen around the yard before, a Black-Capped Chickadee. I wish it had been in a better position for a photo, but this was the best I could get. Settings were f/6.3, 1/400, ISO 400.

In the late winter and early spring I took photos of buds and flowers on the chokecherry tree. Now those flowers have turned into a new crop of berries. Settings were f/6.4, 1/400, ISO 200.

Sophie was outside with me as usual, and she sat and posed for me. Settings were f/6.3, 1/160, ISO 320.

The setting sun shining on a tomato on one of the tomato plants, which are continuing to produce lots of little tomatoes every day. Settings were f/6.3, 1/400, ISO 320.

This is a mockingbird perching in some plants growing up over the edge of a neighbor’s fence. Settings were f/6.3, 1/640, ISO 200.
