The smoke in the air from the fires was much worse today, and people were told to stay indoors as much as possible. Outside it looked as if a yellowish fog had descended on us. So I didn’t do any outdoor photography today, and took a few indoors to post here. Here is Lulu resting in the hallway. Settings were f/5.6, 1/30, ISO 400, with flash.
I haven’t posted a doll photo in awhile so I took pictures of one of my many My Twinn dolls. My Twinn dolls are 23 inch tall dolls with vinyl head, lower arms, and lower legs. They have a cloth body with an armature so they can stand by themselves and pose easily in all kinds of positions. There are many different face molds and a variety of skin, hair, and eye colors, so no two dolls are exactly alike. This one is Russell, a boy with the Allison face mold. The Allison face mold has a slight smile that gives the doll a mischievous look. Russell has strawberry blond hair and hazel eyes, and my favorite thing about him are his eyebrows–very unique and nicely painted. Settings were f/6, 1/30, ISO 400, with flash.
And this is a tiny insect that was sitting on the outside of a window today. I took the photo from indoors. Settings were f/5.6, 1/160, ISO 200.
