Sophie is going first today. Here she is on fence patrol, carefully inspecting the back fence. Settings were f/7.1, 1/100, ISO 400.

And here she is just looking happy. Settings were f/7.1, 1/60, ISO 400.

Remember the little yellow Oxalis flower with the tiny bee on it from the other day? I took a ruler out to measure those flowers so I could get an idea of the size of the bee. As you can see, the flowers are just about 1/2 inch across or about 1.2 cm. The bee was about 1/10 of the width of the flower, so about 1.2 mm–a very tiny bee! Settings were f/8, 1/640, I/160.

I saw the big dark Brown Anole from the back fence again today. He was just venturing onto the side fence. Settings were f/7.1, 1/80, ISO 200.

A couple of photos of the Spinybacked Orbweaver. Here the spider is working on its web, which had torn in the strong breeze. Settings were f/9, 1/200, ISO 400.

More web construction. Settings were f/5.6, 1/400, ISO 160.

Here is the spider in the middle of its finished web. All the little white fluffs on the strands of the web are put there deliberately by the spider. Settings are f/9, 1/200, ISO 400.

Sunset this evening. Settings were f/6.3, 1/40, ISO 400.
