Today was an overcast gray day with thunderstorms coming through in the afternoon and evening. This afternoon I saw a squirrel approaching the palm trees, and I went outside with my camera in time to see the squirrel climbing the tree. Settings were f/7.1, 1/250, ISO 400.
A closer look at the squirrel on the palm tree. Settings were f/7.1, 1/160, ISO 400.
And here’s the squirrel as it climbed higher through the palm fronds. Settings were f/7.1, 1/100, ISO 400.
I saw a bird today that I haven’t seen since last year–the Great Crested Flycatcher. I actually heard it first, calling loudly, and then spotted the bird’s yellow belly up in a tree. I didn’t get great photos, but good enough to identify the bird. Settings were f/7.1, 1/640, ISO 320.
Sophie didn’t mind being outside as long as it was just cloudy. Here she is guarding the yard. Settings were f/7.1, 1/1000, ISO 320.
And here’s Lulu guarding the tomato plants. Settings were f/7.1, 1/30, ISO 800.
