I had appointments and errands to take care of today, so I didn’t get to spend much time with the camera. First is this little butterfly. I’m pretty sure it’s in the Skipper family, and after looking at BugGuide I think it’s a Fiery Skipper. Settings were f/6.3, 1/100, ISO 250.

This little Hover Fly was sitting on a lantana leaf. Settings were f/7.1, 1/160, ISO 250.

While I was over by the lantana I saw a young Brown Anole on the fence and I quietly moved closer for a photo. Just as I took the photo the little anole grabbed a flying insect that was passing by. I’d like to think it was a mosquito! Settings were f/7.1, 1/125, ISO 320.

Another Brown Anole on the palm tree. Settings were f/5.6, 1/80, ISO 200.

This pretty orb weaver spider has built a web behind the shed. Settings were f/5.6, 1/25, ISO 640

I haven’t taken any group photos of my  four Masterpiece dolls together–it’s been too hot to take them all outside–but I did take my new little girl Hannah out again today. She’s wearing a soft cotton Strasburg dress with tucks at the hem and embroidery at the neck. It fits Hannah perfectly and I love it on her. Settings were f/7.1, 1/320, ISO 400.

One more of Hannah. Settings were f/5, 1/640, ISO 400.
