Continuing in 2012 and 2013
2012: After a year of doing this every day, I can see how it’s helped my photography–though I know I still have a lot to learn. I’m used to the routine of coming here every day to post photos, and I want to continue into 2012. I’d like to change the wording of the header to reflect that, but I can’t figure out how to do it! So I’m adding a page to say that I’m going to continue working on photography this coming year, and I hope to continue to post regularly. (Edited to add: I finally found out how to change the wording in the header–so it‘s fixed now!)
In March 2012 I got a new camera, a Canon 7D. It’s a much more advanced and complex camera than my XSi, but not on the level of a “professional” camera. It uses the lenses I already have, which was important to me. There will be plenty to learn with this new camera and I’m enjoying myself with it.
2013: Still continuing to post daily! I’m enjoying my Canon 7D and still learning all the time.

Hello! Love your My Twinn doll pics! Can you tell me where you bought the wigs for boy My Twinn dolls?

Most of my boy wigs are from Kemper Dolls (www.kemperdolls.com). They often have sales on certain styles, sizes, and colors, and you can get wigs at reasonable prices. Tyler is a nice basic boy’s style. The Infant wig can look like a long-haired boy’s style. Tracy can be a boy’s wig with loose curls or waves. I use either size 14-15 or 12-13–both will work, but will give different looks. 14-15 is fuller and longer, and 12-13 is usually a tight fit with a shorter look. I do trim almost all my wigs to get the look I want for the particular doll. I get some wigs from other places and I’ve found that most brands of doll wigs will have their versions of these three wigs. Hope that helps!
