Two for Sunday

Just two for today, but I especially like this first one. This is the red-headed anole who lives in and around the basil pots, and who often goes out into the grass near the pots in search of bugs. Today she came back with a big spider in her mouth. She must have exerted herself in capturing it and carrying it back, because she stood still, breathing quickly for a couple of minutes when she returned.

And this is the mostly orange/red anole I’ve been seeing on the fence on the side of the house lately. It has more of those colors than the usual brown/tan/gray.
