This big fellow was giving me a side glance when I walked outside this afternoon. I like the gold outline around his eye. The whitish color on his face is probably skin he is about to shed.

Here’s a much smaller anole, a baby in one of the tomato pots. The tomato plants have failed to grow back–I probably waited too long to cut them back–but we do have some new little tomato plants sprouting up, and the little anole is perched on a tomato leaf.

Bougainvillea flowers with a busy little ant.

Closer look at the ant on the flowers.

Sophie in the yard, smiling at me when I called her name.

And here’s what sunset looked like tonight. It almost looks like it’s going to snow. Actually there were lots of storm clouds in various shades of gray moving in quickly just around sunset, giving the sky that look.
