It’s been chilly at night lately, but the anoles come out in the sunshine as it warms up during the day.


I’ve been seeing a few anoles around the tomato pots since I worked out there a couple of days ago–nice to see they didn’t all get scared off.


This is one of the young anoles with a regenerating tail. She’s a female, which you can tell by the pattern on her back, and you can see the new narrower, darker part of her tail growing in where the original tip broke off.


Then we have some dark red fall leaves on the fence.


And more red leaves reaching up above the fence toward the sky.
