Appointments took up much of the day, but I did get a few photos. Here’s a Mourning Dove–because of the darker coloring I think it’s the male of the pair I’ve been seeing around.

At first glance I thought this was a female cardinal, but then I noticed the red crest and the red feathers growing in on the wing. It could be a young male.

Taken from a distance so not very clear, but interesting–it looks like a hawk and a Black Vulture passing each other in flight.
