In spring male Carpenter bees start hovering around the areas where females are nesting. They set up very predictable patterns to their hovering. I like to try to get photos by focusing on one area the bee keeps returning to, and waiting for the bee to appear. This was one of my better attempts today.

Little anole near the back door, much smaller than my screen door anole.

And a pair of Mourning Doves in the yard late this afternoon. They were just sitting there on the ground together, looking very comfortable.
