Lulu, our 12-year-old basset hound, has been having problems with one back leg. She was wobbly on her feet and I was really worried, but after a visit to the vet yesterday, some injections, and some medication, she is doing much better today and is mostly back to her normal self. She went outside today and wandered over to the cherry tomato plant, gazing up at it thoughtfully. Lulu loves to pick tomatoes and I could tell what was on her mind.

I told her no, and she turned around and lay down in front of the pot.

Then she closed her eyes as if she were going to take a nap under the tomato plant. I knew she was planning another attempt at tomato picking, so I lured her back inside with a dog treat.

Same male anole I saw by the herb pots yesterday, displaying his dewlap again.

He included some push-ups in his display.

Last for today is a gloriosa lily bud.
