Mostly birds today, but the first thing I saw was this anole. He was up the fence, displaying his dewlap with the morning sun behind him.

While I was watching the butterfly I spotted a tiny ruby-throated hummingbird perched at the top of the bush. I believe it’s a young male, with the first spots of what will become its ruby red throat.

And last for today, one of the juvenile bluebirds. They weren’t in the yard this morning, but late this afternoon this one turned up outside my window.
