There’s been a flock of vultures around lately, flying and circling high in the sky. I see single vultures almost every day, and often see two or three flying in the same area. This is a group of 30 or more vultures.  Migrating maybe?

This bee/wasp seems to have two legs or appendages of some sort that it always carries up above its body. I’ve seen it several times lately–I may have to research this insect.

Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly I think. Its wings are starting to look worn–the sun is almost shining through the upper wing. This butterfly loves these trumpet flowers.
