More rain again today. At least it’s just ordinary harmless rain, not heavy rain with hurricane-force winds, power outages, and damage. We’ve been lucky so far this year–no tropical storms or hurricanes have affected us yet.

Mockingbirds stop on the post in the backyard throughout the day. This one sat up there for awhile in the rain.

This mockingbird came along later–it looks like a smaller bird, more fluffy and not as sleek. It was having problems with its right leg and held its leg up most of the time.

Mockingbird watching me.

Last one for today: a little female anole scrambling through the grass (and weeds) to get to the pool steps. She’d apparently lost her tail some time ago and a new tail is beginning to regenerate.
