I should have thought ahead to get out the tripod and the remote shutter release for the lunar eclipse, but I didn’t. I propped the camera against available surfaces as securely as I could while I attempted some photos. Clouds were moving steadily across the moon and occasionally blocking it from view, so I had to wait for cloud-free moments. So I didn’t get any photos I was really excited about, but I did get a couple to post here.

This shot is from just past the midpoint of the eclipse.

And this one was taken a little while later.
