We have one little green tomato left on the last remaining plant, which is almost dead. The only reason that tomato is still there is that it’s out of easy reach for Lulu the tomato picker.

The basil plants are still there and have flowers on them. Today I noticed insects flying around the flowers. One was this bee, probably a Carpenter Bee rather than a Bumblebee–Bumblebees have fuzzy abdomens, while this bee’s abdomen is smooth.

This Red and Black Mason Wasp was much smaller than the Carpenter Bee.
