I found a cicada exoskeleton on one of the palm trees today. Cicada nymphs live underground until they’re ready to crawl out, break free of the exoskeleton, and fly away.

Over on the tomato plants we have a few bugs. They don’t seem to be the usual leaf-footed bugs we’ve had before. Here’s one of them on a tomato.
