Busy day today and just a few photos. I didn’t have the camera with me and missed getting photos of the most unusual thing I saw today: seven Swallow-tailed Kites flying over my yard this afternoon, swooping and soaring and calling to each other with a high-pitched “Eee, eee” sound. I have seen three kites together a few times, but never as many as seven at one time! Here’s a photo of a kite from another day–just imagine seven of these large, beautiful, graceful birds flying together.
