I got out my 90mm lens and took some anole photos today. This big male was between two fence posts.


I love the irritated expression on this anole’s face as it side glances at whoever’s down below. (No, anoles don’t really have emotional facial expressions, but it looks that way in this photo.)

This anole was hanging out on the basil plants.


And this one is a tiny baby peering out around the base of a fencepost.

And Max with one of his toys. He’s been taking a toy along almost every time he goes out in the yard, and then bringing it back into the house when he goes in. (Well, sometimes I have to remind him to go get the toy and bring it in.)
