I looked out at the bushes in the front yard today and noticed something small and mostly brown near the top edge of one bush. When I went closer I could see it was a female anole.

She was just sitting there looking around. There are anoles in the front yard, but not nearly as many as I see in the backyard.

And here’s Max in the backyard, on the other side of the gate. I walked around the side of the house and found him sitting there watching me.
