Monday Assortment

I don’t often see green anoles, so I was delighted when this big fellow showed up on the screen door today and stayed around for quite awhile.

Green anoles can change colors, going from green to brown. This one, however, had some  spots that stayed green and didn’t change with the rest of him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before.

From a distance across the yard, this brownish thing on the ground outside the shed looked vaguely like a small bird, but when I zoomed in it turned out to be just a crumpled dead leaf.
